What Does It Feel Like?

Most people describe the sensation as a small prick followed by a deep ache, twitch, or cramping feeling in the muscle.

This twitch response is often a positive sign that the tight muscle is releasing.

After treatment, it is common to feel:

  • mild soreness for 24–48 hours
  • temporary muscle heaviness
  • improved movement

This soreness is similar to post-exercise muscle soreness.
